You review itOn paper: a picture you mark
Pupils choose a theme:
Diamond 9: ranking the causes of the First World War (Classfolio theme)
Diamond 9: ranking the causes of the First World War

Good for

Prioritising: the causes of the First World War, the factors in a business decision.

How to set it up

  1. 1In the lesson editor, choose Add slide and pick Diamond 9.
  2. 2Write exactly nine different cards and the question pupils rank them against.
  3. 3Add a prompt asking pupils to justify their ranking.
  4. 4Preview it as a pupil, then run the Readiness check before you launch: it flags anything still missing.

Tips from the classroom

  • There is no single right answer: the justification is the evidence, so ask for it.
  • Ask pairs to agree on a top three before ranking the rest.
