Student Language & Accessibility Profiles

What does this do?

A per-student profile recording home language and accessibility support needs. Set once by a teacher, it's applied automatically wherever that student appears in Classfolio — no need to reconfigure support for every lesson or assessment.

When should I use it?

Use this when a student joins your class and you know they would benefit from translation, Read Aloud, or another support setting.

How do I use it?

1. 1Open a class from Classes and select a student
2. 2Open their Support Profile
3. 3Set their home language and any accessibility preferences
4. 4Save — the profile now applies automatically across lessons, activities, assignments and assessments

Common mistakes

• Assuming students can edit their own profile — profiles are teacher-managed only
• Not updating a profile when a student's needs change during the year
