Deploy Assessment

What does this do?

Deploys an assessment to a class as a run. Supports three delivery modes: online (students work independently), teacher-led (you control pacing), and hybrid. Lets you set per-launch question shuffle and read-to-me options.

When should I use it?

Use this when your assessment is ready and you want to give it to a class. You can deploy as many runs as needed — for example, one per class or one per term.

How do I use it?

1. 1Select the target class using the class picker
2. 2Choose the delivery mode: online, teacher-led, or hybrid
3. 3Optionally enable question shuffle and read-to-me for this run
4. 4Run the readiness check — fix any blocking issues
5. 5Click Deploy
6. 6The run is created and you're taken to the Live Assessment Dashboard

Common mistakes

• Deploying without AI mark schemes — the readiness check warns you but won't always block deployment
• No classes available — create a class and add students before deploying
