What does this do?

Monitors an active assessment run in real time. Shows participant status, countdown timer, and controls to start, pause, or end the run. From here you can auto-submit students who haven't finished, trigger AI marking, and release results.

When should I use it?

Use this while a run is in progress — keep it open on your screen or device to track who has submitted and when to end the assessment.

How do I use it?

1. 1The run starts in 'waiting' state — students join by entering the run code
2. 2Click 'Start assessment' to open it to students
3. 3Monitor participant progress in real time
4. 4If the timer expires, auto-submit any remaining students
5. 5Click 'Mark with AI' to trigger AI marking after all students have submitted
6. 6Approve any pending AI responses in the Moderation tab
7. 7Release results to students when marking is complete

Common mistakes

• Starting the run before all students have joined — latecomers can still join but may miss time
• Forgetting to trigger AI marking after submissions close
• Releasing results before approving moderated responses
