Revising with a Topic Hub
What does this do?
A Topic Hub is a revision page your teacher has pinned to your class space. It can have videos, audio, flashcards, a mind map, a retrieval grid, games, exam questions that are marked straight away, and a checklist where you say how confident you feel.
When should I use it?
Use it to revise for a test, to catch up on a lesson you missed, or whenever you want to check what you know about a topic.

How do I use it?
- 1Open your class space and look under Pinned by your teacher
- 2Choose a Topic Hub to open it — if it is part of a unit, use the contents list or the next and previous buttons
- 3Flip the flashcards and try the retrieval grid to test yourself
- 4Write an answer to an exam question and choose Mark my answer to get a mark and a tip
- 5Rate each "Can you now…?" statement: Not yet, Nearly or Got it — your teacher sees this and it is saved for next time
Common mistakes
- Asking for an exam answer to be marked many times — each question can be marked 5 times a day
- Looking for a Topic Hub that has gone — your teacher may have taken it down
