Your Class Space

What does this do?

A noticeboard for your class where your teacher posts messages, files and links. You can reply, and you can send a message to the whole class. Your teacher reads everything you write before the class sees it.

When should I use it?

Check it for homework reminders, revision links and anything else your class needs to know. Use it to ask the class a question or share something useful.

How do I use it?

1. 1Open Class Spaces from the menu, or go to your class and choose Class Space
2. 2Read the messages your teacher has posted
3. 3Use Reply to respond to a message, or write a new message at the top
4. 4Click Send for approval — your teacher reads it first
5. 5Your reply stays in the thread marked 'Waiting for approval' so you can see it arrived — only you and your teacher can see it until then

Common mistakes

• Expecting your message to appear straight away — it waits for your teacher to approve it
• Sending the same message again because it has not appeared yet — look for your own reply marked 'Waiting for approval'; if it is there, it arrived
• Trying to message another pupil — you cannot, Class Spaces are for the whole class only
