Session Control Panel

What does this do?

A secondary-device control panel for an active live session. Mirrors the session state and lets you navigate slides, open/close questions, launch flashcard activities, and end the session — all from your phone or tablet while the presenter runs on the projector.

When should I use it?

Use this when you're teaching with the main presenter on a projector and want control from your phone or a tablet you carry around the room.

How do I use it?

1. 1While a live session is running, open the control URL on a second device
2. 2The panel shows the current slide and live response count
3. 3Use the navigation buttons to move forward or back through slides
4. 4Open or close the current activity to accept/stop student responses
5. 5Launch an attached flashcard deck activity for the class
6. 6End the session from here if needed

Common mistakes

• Opening the control panel before the session has started — it won't load until the session is live
• Network interruption on the control device causing the slide counter to fall out of sync — refresh to resync
