Deploy Assignment

What does this do?

Deploys an assignment to one or more student classes or staff cohorts. Sets a due date, triggers auto-deployment of any attached flashcard decks, and creates a deployment code students can use to access it.

When should I use it?

Use this when your assignment is ready and you want to send it to a class or cohort. You can deploy to multiple classes at once.

How do I use it?

1. 1Select the target class or staff cohort from the picker
2. 2Set an optional due date
3. 3Run the readiness check
4. 4Click Deploy
5. 5The deployment code and any existing deployments are shown on confirmation

Common mistakes

• No classes or cohorts available — create them first
• Forgetting to set a due date — students see the assignment as open-ended
