AI

Curriculum links

What does this do?

Link a specification or a planning document so the AI tools build against real outcomes. The file is read on your device — the original is never uploaded, only the outline Classfolio builds from it is stored. You then tick the outcomes you are teaching in any AI wizard, and lessons, assessments, assignments and Topic Hubs record which outcomes they cover.

When should I use it?

Use it when you teach an exam specification or follow a department scheme of work, so AI drafts match the outcomes you actually have to cover.

How do I use it?

  1. 1In any AI wizard, find Curriculum and choose Link
  2. 2Choose Upload a PDF or Word file, or pick one you have already linked
  3. 3Confirm what kind of document it is when asked
  4. 4Under Which are you teaching?, tick the outcomes for this piece of work
  5. 5Choose Use this, then carry on with the wizard
  6. 6Manage your documents in Resources → Curriculum

Common mistakes

  • Uploading a past paper or mark scheme — assessment material can never be used to generate pupil work
  • Ticking too many outcomes — if it says too much to send, choose fewer
  • Expecting pupils to see the document — nothing in Curriculum is visible to pupils
